Yes, but it will need footing plates and corner knee braces. We provide these and fitting details are specified in the engineering provided. N.B. – We do not recommend dyna-bolts for fixing to concrete as they can work free over time. When requesting a quote please tick the concrete slab option.
Currently we are only supplying skillion (flat) roofed free standing carports.
The engineering has all the details that you or your builder will need for its construction.
Yes, but there is always a limit. Send us your requirement in the quote page and remember to allow for a possible future concrete slab and the extra height for an air conditioner on your RV.
After receiving the information we require about your site and your deposit of $660 it will take two weeks to finalise your engineering. This will be emailed to you and will allow you to apply for Building Approval. Meanwhile we will send your fixing kit via Australia Post.
On confirmation of your final payment we will deliver the balance of your materials, within 10 working days, maybe a little longer in remote areas.
The engineering that we provide is for a structure with no side walls or infills. Any additions to the side walls will alter the wind loads to any carport or patio. If these are required to a wall (or part thereof) the relevant engineering can be added at a further cost.
All our products are supplied by Stramit Steel Industries and are made from BHP Steel. Our warranty is 12 months conditional on adherence to the manufacturer’s installation specifications and the engineering that we supply.
Yes. The prices we quote include delivery to your site. Our engineering is emailed to you, the fixings box is posted and the balance of the materials will be delivered to your site.
As explained earlier, you need to source the SHS posts locally. By doing this part yourself we can supply your carport at a cost effective price.
